
NCCAP Announces New

Starting in late summer
NCCAP will be adding a bulletin
board to their web site
for Basic Course Instructors, Advanced
Management Course Instructors and those
organizations hosting continuing
education workshops, seminars and
conferences. This NCCAP Bulletin Board
will be for anyone wishing to get their
information to our NCCAP members and
activity professionals who are looking
for these sessions.
Posting on the NCCAP
Continuing Education Bulletin Board will
not mean that the offering is NCCAP
pre-approved or that NCCAP endorses the
session. This disclaimer will be on the
web site and those wanting additional
information should be able to obtain such
through the e-mail address of the person
posting the information. All NCCAP
members should be aware that educational
sessions can be NCCAP pre-approved but
NCCAP is not responsible for those
continuing education sessions or BEC, AMC
classes that have not met the NCCAP
approval process. We are simply creating
an avenue for activity professionals to
find continuing education in their area
to maintain their certification or to
further their education.
We welcome all those
instructors and organizations that have
educational sessions coming up this fall
to check out the NCCAP Web site and use
this professional tool to find
educational sessions that are in your
area. We are committed to providing our
members with every tool available to
assist them with their careers. The NCCAP
Continuing Education Bulletin Board is
one more step toward bringing NCCAP
closer to all activity professionals.
We also have a NEW e-mail
address that will put you in touch with
our Board of Directors. Our address is, info@nccap.org
has been in effect since October and
receives up to 10 inquiries per day. We
try to answer all of those who are
choosing to contact us, we transfer your
information to the main office as well as
forward questions to our NCCAP Board. We
encourage all NCCAP members to utilize
this service and are looking forward to
posting additional information to
expedite your certification process. Your
input and continued support of our web
site, which had 32,000 hits
from October to January, will assist all
activity professionals move into the 21st
Century and beyond. NN
