The NCCAP Board of Directors
consists of only six (6) elected
Directors. Each Board Member serves a
three-year term and has many
responsibilities. The election ballot is
mailed late-fall with the term beginning
in April.
This year, the candidates
will be running for specific offices. The
Membership will be voting for Treasurer
and Special Projects Trustee. If you are
interested in serving on the NCCAP Board
of Directors, please contact either
Debbie Wilkinson, NCCAP Nominations
Chairperson, the Nominations Committee or
any member of the NCCAP Board of
Directors. Members can nominate
individuals they feel could represent
NCCAP well. When considering being an
NCCAP Board Member or voting on one, Keep
in mind the following:
- Have they served the
activity profession at the
national, state or local level?
- Are they organized?
- Are they committed
to NCCAP and upholding our
standards?
- What type of prior
Board experience do they have?
- What type of
communications skills do they
have?
- What talents would
they bring to the Board and the
