Personnel Committee
UpdateThe
personnel committee has been actively
looking for an NCCAP Administrator since
the resignation of the former director in
February of last year. This committee
hasreviewed the position description, the
5 year strategic plan and the association
By-lawsto determine what is needed for
NCCAP and you the certified members.
Cindy Bradshaw, ACC, President of the
Board of Directors, will continue to
serve as the interim administrator, with
the support of the staff and other Board
members until which time a replacement is
hired. A complete report will be shared
with the members at the NCCAP Annual
meeting on Thursday, April 13, 2000.
The decision made by the
NCCAP Board of Directors to have the
NCCAP office remain in Virginia Beach has
allowed the stability for the members and
has been most successful. In the past
several months, every procedure has been
reviewed, and each process has been
updated; which has enabled the
certification process to become more
efficient, and enabled the office staff
to effectively maintain the day to day
operations of the association. The
average turn around time for file review
has decreased by nearly 5 weeks. The
number of certified members has increased
by over 300 since this time last year
which is real exciting, and means the
importance of qualified, credentialed
individuals is on the rise.
The NCCAP Board of Directors
continues to be committed to excellence
on your behalf, and we consider it an
honor to serve as your elected officers.
We welcome your comments and encourage
you to join us at the NAAP Conference, in
Colorado Springs, CO - April 12 - 15,
2000. NN
