Professional
Credentials and the Pride that Goes with Them
John Collins
CTRS, ACC
The
National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP)
has set standards that will grant professionals credentials
they can use when signing official documentation. Once certification
is granted, the activity professional has permission to use
the following credentials: AAC (Activity Assistant Certified),
ADC (Activity Director Certified), ADPC (Activity Director Provisionally
Certified), and ACC (Activity Consultant Certified). To be granted
certification, activity professionals have to meet established
standards in academic education, activity experience and continuing
education. As a nationally certified professional, these credentials
should be used with pride. NN
