NCCAP Celebrates NAPW!

We would like to thank all those who participated in our first ever, online continuing education programs in celebration of National Activity Professionals Week (NAPW). There were four presentations for which our members could receive a clock hour each of continuing education in our National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) Chat Room. The topics were as varied as the activity profession itself. We presented up-to-date information on Alzheimer's disease and ideas for sensory programming. Participants were able to share ideas for marketing their activity programs and to learn about how to be a better activity professional.

This was so successful that we are planning to offer these programs throughout the year. Those who would like to participate should check the chat room schedule and the NCCAP Bulletin Board for upcoming times and topics. NCCAP charges $10.00 per session if you complete the application. This fee covers the certificate, processing, and postage. We look forward to having our members participate and post their ideas on the NCCAP Bulletin Board. NN
