As
a Certified Activity Professional one of the components
required for re-certification is continuing education.
When budgets are tight we all know that the Activity
budget is usually the first to be "adjusted"
when the purse strings are pulled. One of the "perks"
of being certified with NCCAP is the opportunity to
apply for the Beverly Morris Scholarship. This scholarship
may provide funds to cover registration costs to attend
a conference or convention. The application may be down-loaded
from the NCCAP website (www.nccap.org) under Downloads
and Requests for Information. Please note the application
must be submitted at least sixty (60) days prior to
the educational program. We encourage professionals
to take advantage of yet another way NCCAP is dedicated
to helping you succeed in the activity profession.
