The
Land of OZ Takes Certification Challenge to Heart
Activity
Professionals in Kansas have accepted the certification
challenge with huge hearts. At the 2005 fall conference
of the Kansas Activity Directors Association (KADA),
Cindy Bradshaw, Executive Director of NCCAP, was invited
to speak on certification. In a dynamic presentation
Ms. Bradshaw explained all aspects of certification
and then participants were divided into groups for more
hands on assistance. The exciting news was that almost
ALL participants in the room were eligible for certification
through one track or another. Perhaps your members may
be too?
In
February KADA will be offering a one-day mini-conference
to provide Activity Professionals with the six hours
of documentation that is required for Track 5. Documentation
will again be focused on at the 2006 fall conference.
KADA
is committed to helping Activity Professionals reach
their goals. Are you?
If
you know of someone who is interested in pursuing certification
PLEASE encourage him or her to contact the NCCAP office.
