Level
Changes
With
the opening of the window of opportunity for ADC Track
5, many of you are attempting to change levels from
either the AAC or the ADPC. In order to level change
an applicant must submit the difference between the
current level requirements and the next higher-level
criteria.
Example
- If you are an AAC Track 3; you had initially (The
completion of the MEPAP 1, 2,000 hours of experience,
high school diploma/GED and 20 ce's). Lets say you were
trying to level change to the ADC Track 3, which requires
(60 college credits, 30 ce's. diploma/GED, 6,000 hours
of experience and the completion of MEPAP 1). What you
would send is the proof of the 10 additional ce's, the
proof of the 60 college credits, the proof of the additional
hours of experience. It is NOT necessary to resend the
diploma, or the MEPAP certificate, as they were BOTH
already on file from the AAC application.
Also
with level changes - an application needs to be submitted;
checking the box that states level change and submitting
the $40.00 level change fee. (If you are renewing your
certification at the same time, then it would be the
$45.00 renewal fee AND the $40.00 level change fee);
also IF you are late, then the additional $50.00 late
fee also applies. NN
