Report 2007
Two
Board positions were open for the 2007 - 2010 term of
office. Letters were mailed to all State Representatives
and an article was placed in the NCCAP Newsletter, as
well as the information was posted on the NCCAP website;
with a cut off date of October 1, 2006 for candidate
profiles to be returned

Nancy Best-PA
Michael Bower-WA
Laurie Kloepper-KS
With
Board approval of the slate the Ballots were then mailed
to the membership the end of December 2006. Deadline
on voting was February 1, 2007.
The
committee counted the 884 ballots that were received.
884 ballots voted for 2 candidates. The Board was notified
of the results with the Board Members elected being
Nancy Best and Laurie Kloepper. Both candidates were
notified by e-mail. Candidates were mailed the orientation
book from the NCCAP Office.
A
slate of recommended officer positions for the 2007
- 2008 year will be presented to the Board of Directors
at the Spring 2007 meeting in Columbus, Ohio.
