Spring Board Meeting
Report
Appointments,
recommendations and observances top major
notes
 At the NCCAP annual
meeting it was suggested from a member
that the NCCAP Board of Directors recap,
for those of you not in attendance, the
highlights of the Spring Board of
Directors meeting.
- The
board welcomed LeNora Hughes, who
was appointed to fill the vacancy
of the nominations chair. The
nominations chair has organized
this position, with regard to the
time-lines and election process.
- The
board reviewed recommended
changes to the standards
submitted from the committee and
summarized by the NCCAP
Secretary. The input was so
varied, that the board opted to
go back to the committee with
each other’s recommendations
and ask them to come to a
concensus for the boards review
at their Fall meeting.
- The
board reviewed the recommended
changes to the ByLaws, submitted
by the committee, and summarized
through the NCCAP Vice President
- The
board reviewed a proposal from a
company wishing to be responsible
for the NCCAP marketing.
- The
board recognized all the
committee members present at the
meeting.
- The
board recognized Debbie Wilkenson
as the outgoing board member.
- The
personnel committee reviewed the
procedure for filling the
Administrator vacancy.
- The
board recognized the dedication
given by two members who passed
away this year: Phyllis Foster,
CO and Gregry Foster, VA
We thank
