for NCCAP Board 2002by

Nominations Committee
Nominations are now being
accepted for election to the NCCAP Board
of Directors for 2002. The two open seats
on the Board are voluntary, and involve a
commitment to the work of the certified
members. The Board meets two times
yearly, and each of the members of the
Board serve as an Officer and Chair of
one of the working committees which do
the actual work of the association.
All members of NCCAP may
submit prospective nominees for the
Board. All candidates must meet the
following criteria:
- must be able to
attend two yearly Board meetings
- must have two years
current activity experience
working with the elderly
- must be an active
member of their State/Local
activity professionals
association
- have been active or
in a leadership role on a
national committee or
organization
- provide two letters
of recommendation
- provide a copy of
current NCCAP certification
- must have access to
e-mail to facilitate
communication between Board
members and/or officers

position, contact the Nominations
Committee representative in your region
and request a nominations profile form no
later than July 9, 2001. NN
