NCCAP Treasurer and Chair, Advanced Technology Committee

In April, the NCCAP Board of Directors met in Burlington, Vermont and one of the many items presented to the Board for review was the review of programs submitted to the Advanced Technology Committee. In the past, the provider submitted a program and then 3 members of the committee would review the materials for the number of hours necessary to complete the program. This was a very timely process, and several suggestions were presented to the board.

After much discussion, the Board voted to require the individual submitting the request for pre-approval status to also submit three letters stating how long the program takes to complete and that would be the number of hours pre-approved. In the past this part was optional. NN
