Vice President’s Annual Report

NCCAP Vice President

This year as the Vice President I have attended all board meetings and offered input in certification matters. I have chaired the following committees: By Laws, Advanced Technology and Recertification. I also served on the Personnel Committee that had the responsibility of processing applications and interviewing candidates to fill the position of NCCAP Administrator.

This year has seen many changes in the Recertification Committee as several times during the year much followup was needed to make sure the renewals were processed in a timely manner and that the proper protocols were being followed.

The Advanced Technology Committee has been receiving and reviewing many more applications for pre-approval status for continuing education via internet, correspondence and video programs.

The By Laws Committee reviewed and made some recommendations to the By Laws and submitted them to the Board of Directors. After much discussion some were approved and some were denied — however the Board did approve an amended By Laws that was presented to the NCCAP membership for vote in February which did pass.

I also retyped the entire ByLaws to have the new revised By Laws available for membership at the NAAP Convention in Burlington, Vermont. NN
