Now Being Accepted
We are now seeking nominations to fill the (2) Board
of Director seats for the 2005-2008 term. At the Fall
Board of Directors meeting it was decided that no more
than two persons per State could sit on the Board at
one time. In this way we can try and provide a better
representation of our membership. The application materials
can be downloaded from the web site. Please don't wait,
if you are interested or you know someone who would
be an asset to the Board fill out an application and
mail it in
to Paula Miller.
Volunteers - NCCAP exists from the help and support
of many volunteers. Volunteers review initial applications
for certification, renewal applications, pre-approvals,
and appeals. Many volunteers were able to receive the
acknowledgment for their hard work and dedication at
NCCAP's annual meeting held on April 23rd. For those
who were not in attendance, many thanks to you as well.
You are truly a valuable asset serving NCCAP and the
certified professionals!
Office Staff - not enough can be said about NCCAP's
office staff. They are the driving force of the day-to-day
business and carry the brunt of the workload. They compile
the applications, send them out to the volunteer reviewers,
process them upon return, sending out the notices to
the applicant, answer the phones, review and respond
to e-mails, keep the database up-to-date and much more.
Should you change your name or address it is important
to contact the office so we can keep your information
current so you can continue to receive the newsletter
and mailings.
Grant monies - we are currently seeking grant monies
to conduct research on issues and topics facing activity
professionals.
NOMINATIONS

Qualifications:
· NCCAP certified as an AAC, ADC, or ACC
· Minimum of two (2) years activity experience
with elderly population
· Attend two (2) Board meetings a year
· Active in their State and/or National activity
association(s)
