National
Certification Council for Activity Professionals
Annual Treasurer Report
By
John Collins, CTRS, ACC, Treasurer
NCCAP
treasury continues to be secure. Much of the record
keeping is being processed in the office under the direction
of the Executive Director and office staff. Monthly
reports are submitted to the Treasurer and President
and at times recommendations/clarifications are requested.
The annual budgets are prepared for a more realistic
budget whether income supports expenditures. At this
time the importance is that the operations in the office
continue to support certification and that NCCAP continues
to market certification to activity professionals around
the country.
I
personally want to thank the NCCAP office staff for
their outstanding performance when it comes to the NCCAP
budget - this makes my role, as Treasurer, much easier
and I know from having a successful business background
how much work goes into preparing and processing financial
reports.
NCCAP
continues to have a bookkeeping service to complete
payroll and tax information.
The
2003 Profit and Loss Statement shows income in the amount
of $179,229.95. Expenditures amount to $177,749.29 with
a net profit of $1,480.66.
The
2004 Budget reflects a higher expenditure amount than
the estimated income as this has determined a more accurate
account of numbers. All efforts will be made to keep
expenditures within stated budgeted amounts or less
as well as increasing income. NN
