NCCAP
ADC Track 5 Offer Expires 12/31/06
As
of 1/2007, the window of opportunity for ADC Track 5
will expire on 12/31/2006.
As of 1/2007, ALL INITIAL applicants to NCCAP will require
the entire MEPAP (180 hours of course-work/180 hours
of practicum), not just the MEPAP part 1. ALL in-dividuals
considering NCCAP certification that currently only
have MEPAP part 1, will want to apply for certification
ASAP, PRIOR to the standard changes that will take affect
1/1/2007. *After 1/2007 - those that have only MEPAP
part 1 will have to obtain MEPAP part 2 in order to
apply for the ADC or ACC levels. (The equivalent to
MEPAP 2nd edition requirements)
Be sure to encourage others that may be eligible for
Track 5 to apply before this offer expires. (High School
diploma/GED, a basic course completed between 1991-2001,
12,000 hours of experience, and 30 ce's, 6 of which
MUST cover documentation, mds, care planning, etc).
{States are encouraged to offer documentation, regulatory
updates and certification information at EVERY workshop,
annual conference etc - this was brought up at the NCCAP
annual meeting in 4/2006 as a result of many certified
individuals needing more educational credits at these
events.} NN
