The Board of Directors met
in Virginia Beach for its fall meeting,
November 1 - 4, 2000. Highlights of the
traditional annual meeting included:
- standard committee
recommendations
- bylaw committee
recommendations
- review of advanced
technology procedures
- update on the
re-engineering project
- review of the
nominations committee procedures
/ slate for Spring election
- budget review from
the finance committee
- personnel committee
update / report
- NCCAP strategic plan
for 2001 - 2005
As a regular practice, The
Board also reviews any and all
correspondence that is directed to the
board, which included the area of
speciality tracks, home study courses,
and consideration of allowing CNA
experience to count toward the experience
component of certification.
The next meeting of the
Board of Directors will be in conjunction
with the NAAP conference in Burlington,
