NOMINATIONS
COMMITTEE:
Volunteers Make the
DifferenceLeNora
Hughes, ACC
Nominations Committee
The NCCAP Nomination
Committee continues to have a strong base
of volunteers for board and committee
recruitment. The committee has a list of
400 plus names of members who are
interested in becoming more involved with
NCCAP in one way or another. So get
ready, we are going to put you to work,
if you are willing!
A letter will be sent to
each member on the volunteer list from
all our regions (Central, Eastern &
Western) inviting them to be on
committees or be prepared to be a
candidate for the board at election time.
A brief job description of each
committee, as well as board
responsibilities, will be enclosed. The
letter will ask for your commitment to
how you would like to work with NCCAP.
Being an NCCAP volunteer can
be a very rewarding experience with an
opportunity for professional and personal
growth. You will be on the inside of
NCCAP where you will understand the
workings of this fine organization and
get to know the members who have been
with NCCAP from the beginning. All levels
of certification are urged to
participate. There is a place for anyone
who cares about his or her career and
wants to have a voice in what is
happening.
Election 2002 will be upon
us before we know it. The nomination
committee begins their work on
recruitment next fall, so we need your
help in producing a healthy ballot.
Several board positions will be
available. If you are interested or know
of someone in your chapter or state
organization who would like to be a
candidate, please request an application
from the representative in your region or
contact LeNora Hughes, or the NCCAP
office. NN
