NCCAP Executive Director
The
number of NCCAP certified activity professionals continues
to climb. More individuals are renewing their certification,
and the pre-approval process is in full force.
The
NCCAP staff continues to meet your needs in a timely
and professional manner, and with the assistance of
the dedicated volunteer reviewers, we are able to process
your appli-cations at a more rapid pace than ever before.
A
new phone system has been installed at the NCCAP office.
This allows us to filter the calls, through to the appropriate
person, in order to meet your needs faster. The staff
continues to answer the phones during the day (9 a.m.
- 5 p.m. EST), but now we can give you an option to
leave a message for a specific person or for a specific
reason, i.e., to receive an application, to check the
status of a current application, or to leave an address/name
change.
The
web site also continues to be a well-used mode of communication
for our certified members. Ques-tions generated via
our web presence, either on the NCCAP.ORG bulletin board
or via email, are fielded by an NCCAP Board member and
then forwarded to the appropriate individual to be answered.
All these tools are in place to assist you, the cer-tified
member, and to allow the process to go more smoothly.
