Special Projects Update

As the Special Projects Chair on the NCCAP Board of Directors, one of the projects that I am currently working on is updating a manual for NCCAP that contains the Activity Standards/Regulations for each state as well as the name, and contact information (address, phone number and e-mail) of the governing entity that is responsible for surveying the facilities such as the Kansas Department of Aging.

The NCCAP Executive Director has written to the NCCAP State representatives several times over the past few years requesting this information, but information is still needed from the following states: Alaska, Florida (LTC regs. only) Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Nevada, Tennessee, and Wyoming.
