Just
in case you weren't aware . . . Your NCCAP Board of
Directors meets face to face twice a year to review
and oversee the operations of the organization. The
rest of the year we communicate via e-mail and telephone
on various matters and issues, committee work and more.
Each and every board member has a variety of responsibilities
for which they are accountable. I must say we have a
hard working board, but more so we have an AWESOME office
staff!
Our
office staff is the true backbone of NCCAP! They are
the ones that handle the face-to-face issues and matters
on a daily basis. They process hundreds of applications
for certification, renewals, pre-approvals and more.
It is truly amazing what they do and how well they do
it! At our fall board meeting we visit the office and
are always amazed at the fluid operation that occurs
and the thousands of papers that are processed and the
filing system that is in place.
Lastly,
but also of great importance are all of the NCCAP volunteers!
Because of these wonderful people each and every application
for certification and for renewal is processed. That's
100%. We have volunteers on various committees who help
make decisions and keep us moving in the right direction.
All
aside NCCAP is moving forward to ensure that certified
activity professionals are a-number-one. Throughout
this newsletter are various accomplishments and new
efforts put forth for you as well as some of the ideas
and efforts that we are taking to increase our numbers.
Thanks our certified members for your part in the professionalism
of our field!
