Call for Volunteers
to Act as State Representatives
Good volunteer turnout fills nearly all
the State Rep seatsIn
previous newsletters, NCCAP has asked for
volunteers as state representatives. And
the response has been good. At present we
have 55 representatives in 42 states.
We empower theses
individuals to act as representatives
between activity professionals in their
state and NCCAP. This network of members
are given tools to assist other
individuals with their NCCAP
certification process.
They also let NCCAP know who
is teaching the courses in their state as
well as share vital information between
the members and the NCCAP Board.
Active involvement will be
monitored by the chairperson through
communication and information gathering
mailings. The involvement of the state
representative will be evaluated on an
annual basis. If a state representative
is no longer considered to be an active
member, the committee can seek another
volunteer to represent that state. This
fall, important surveys were mailed to
all active state representatives. The
NCCAP Board is waiting for all survey
results to be returned. This essential
information will effect strategic
planning as NCCAP strives to serve their
membership of over 7,000. Thank you for
all your time and energy that the current
state representatives have given to
NCCAP. We look forward to a new year and
century of serving the NCCAP membership.
Please call me if you need any
assistance.
We still need initial state
representatives from the following
states: Idaho, Kansas, Montana, New
Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota,
Utah and Wyoming. NN
