NCCAP and our Professional Association NAAP position on Activity Professionals as "Essential Personnel"

DO YOU NEED CE'S FOR RENEWAL?

We know some of our Certified Professionals are having trouble obtaining CE hours required for certification renewal. Thus, we are happy to provide you with a great solution for NCCAP-approved CEs!

  1.  DO NOT WAIT TO RENEW!
  2.  CALL THE NCCAP OFFICE AND LET THEM KNOW HOW MANY CE HOURS YOU ARE MISSING.
  3.  You will then be guided to renew online which will allow you to be placed in "Pending" status for 30 days while you obtain your needed CE hours.  Importantly, your Certification will appear as "Active" during this pending status if required to be verified by Employers and Surveyors, rather than "Expired.  You are allowed to use your credential while in "Pending" status.

HOW TO OBTAIN NCCAP-APPROVED CE HOURS FOR FREE

LIVE WEBINARS: Our Professional Association, the National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP) is making all their live webinars to all NCCAP Certified Professionals free of charge until July 1, 2020. They are free to attend whether you are a paid NAAP member or not. NAAP will explain how to obtain a Certificate of Completion for the course. All courses are NCCAP-approved for renewal purposes.

For a full schedule of events and information to register please click the button below.

PRE-RECORDED WEBINARS: If you are unable to attend NAAP live webinars, some NCCAP Partners have donated
pre-recorded webinars for you to watch. They also offer a few live courses coming up. All are NCCAP-approved for renewal purposes. Certificates will not be issued by our Partners for these courses. Accordingly, you must complete a separate CE Summary Verification form for each pre-recorded webinar you submit for CE credit.

To take advantage of these pre-recorded webinars for CE credit you must complete the following steps:

  1.  Choose any course from our Partner's library and watch the pre-recorded webinar. Access these courses by clicking on the logo to be taken to that Partner's page. There, you will be provided with information on how to view free courses.
  2. For each course you watch and submit for CE credit, you must download and fully complete the CE Summary Verification form, available HERE
  3. Email each fully completed CE Summary Verification form, which requires that you write a detailed 150 word summary of the course, to: [email protected]. Be sure to submit one CE Summary Verification form for each course. Keep a copy of each CE Summary Verification form in the event you are audited.
  4. NOTE: You must call the NCCAP Office to inform them when you have completed all your missing CEs required for certification renewal.

WAIVE LATE FEES

We are waiving all Late Fees through July 31, 2020.

EXTENSION OF NATIONAL EXAM TIME FRAME

We are extending the time frame for all those currently registered to take the National Exam until July 31, 2020.                       We will update this time frame as necessary.

SUSPENSION OF FAX FEE

In order to make it easier to submit renewal documentation via Fax, we are suspending the $10 Fax Fee until July 1, 2020. We encourage anyone who can benefit from using a Fax to do so. Our Fax number is: 757-552-0143. We request that you Fax your application with credit card payment instead of mailing any documentation to the office. If you have the ability to pay your application fee by credit card, we ask you to either include your credit card information in the forms to be faxed or used in the online renewal process. Alternatively, we encourage you to call the NCCAP office to provide your credit card details over the phone if you prefer.
