Certification Standards

Since 1986, NCCAP has been at the forefront of quality of life and activities for seniors in long-term care settings. As approaches to care have evolved, NCCAP has stepped forward to fill a void with trusted nationally-recognized certifications that improve the quality of life through person-centered care.

NCCAP certifications are based on rigorous standards that meet applicable State and Federal requirements. Our certifications provide peace of mind to employers, families, and caregivers.

NOTE: updated Certification Standards for 2019 are now posted and effective October 1, 2019.
