How the Course Works

This is a self-paced, online course—so there’s no live instructor, and you can go through the lessons whenever it works best for you. Everything you need—videos, readings, and interactive tools—is available on our learning platform. You’ll get clear guidance each step of the way, including how to prep for the certification exam and what to do once you finish the course.

When you successfully finish the course and exam (included in this venue), you will receive Assisted Living Enrichment Certification (ALEC) through the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP).

As a bonus, your course registration includes a free one-year membership to the National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP)—giving you access to tools, resources, and continuing education opportunities.

When registering for the course, be sure to enter the Name as it will appear on the Certification documents.
