The NCCAP Approved Instructor MEPAP program utilizing independently developed instructor curricula will conclude on December 31, 2026.
After this date, NCCAP will no longer recognize MEPAP coursework completed through this instructor model.

What is MEPAP?

The Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals (MEPAP) is an educational program designed to prepare professionals for NCCAP certification and the Activity Profession.
MEPAP coursework is offered by NCCAP Approved Instructors using a variety of educational formats, including live virtual classes, instructor-supported online courses, self-paced learning, and in-person instruction.

Which Course Do I Need?

Important Certification Information

Completing a MEPAP course does not automatically grant NCCAP certification. 

After completing your coursework, you must apply directly with NCCAP and meet all certification requirements to become nationally certified.

Course Delivery Options

Face-to-Face
Live instruction that can include attending an in-person class or through virtual classes. 

Live online instruction using Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.

Flexible enrollment with instructor support as needed. 

Finding an Instructor

Approved Instructors independently establish:

• Course schedules
• Tuition and fees
• Delivery methods

Students are encouraged to contact instructors directly to determine which course best meets their needs.

Note: Approval numbers ending in "-1" indicate the instructor teaches MEPAP 1 only.
