Since 1986, NCCAP has been the Gold Standard recognized for ensuring the highest knowledge and skills to deliver the quality of life and activities across long-term care settings.

NCCAP curriculums for certification are informed by the person-centered care principles of the Pioneer Network and the dementia care principles of the Alzheimer's Association.

Our Certification Standards are validated by a Clinical and Curriculum Advisory Board of independent clinicians, practitioners, and academic experts specialized in long-term care.
